Our policy

Making the world more colourful goes beyond the products we create. It is woven into the choices we make every day: how we work with people, collaborate with partners and contribute to society. Here, we outline what we stand for, how we put those principles into practice, and where we continue to grow. Part of this policy is set out below.

Lobby policy

Emerald Eternal Green B.V. is currently not engaged in any active lobbying activities aimed at influencing specific legislation or regulations. Furthermore, Emerald Eternal Green does not make any political donations. Although we do not actively lobby, we safeguard our integrity in this area as follows:

  • No political interference: Our resources are used exclusively to achieve our social mission (as laid down in our articles of association) and not to gain political favors or influence.
  • Trade associations: We critically assess the positions of the networks and associations we are affiliated with. If an advocacy group takes a stance that directly opposes our B Corp values or sustainability ambitions, we will distance ourselves from it.
Human rights

At Emerald Eternal Green, our mission is to make the world more colorful with our artificial flowers and plants. We believe that a colorful world goes beyond the lifespan and color of our products; it represents a sustainable and respectful way of interacting with people.

As a certified B Corp, we recognize our responsibility to protect and promote human rights. This applies unconditionally to our own employees in the Netherlands, as well as to the partners and suppliers we work with worldwide. Our core value ‘We Care’ forms the foundation for this. Emerald acts in accordance with the highest international standards. We use the following frameworks as the foundation for our policy:

  • The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UN).
  • The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
  • The International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
  • The principles of amfori BSCI, of which we are an active member to ensure social improvements in our supply chain.
Complaints

Making the world more colourful also means taking responsibility when something does not go as expected. At Emerald Eternal Green, we want customers, suppliers, employees, partners and other stakeholders to feel safe and heard when raising a concern, complaint or signal.

As a B Corp, we value transparency, accountability and continuous improvement. We therefore treat complaints with care and use them as an opportunity to improve our processes, partnerships and impact.
